Pierre De Gioia Carabellese

Professor Pierre de Gioia Carabellese has been appointed Professor of Banking and Financial Law , Professor of Business Law and Regulation . Since 2017 he has been a professor of law in England and Wales , where he continues being a professorial fellow at the Advance Higher Education . Prior to that, Pierre was Associate Professor of business law, assistant professor of business law and lecturer , at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. Pierre is is a Notary Public in Edinburgh, Solicitor in the UK and Avvocato in Italy. As of October 2024 Professor dr Pierre de Gioia Carabellese is both Professor of Business Law at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Poland, and Lecturer of Law, Professore di Diritto, at the University of South wales .

Professor de Gioia Carabellese holds a Ph.D. in banking and financial law in Siena , an LLM in European and international trade law at Glasgow Caledonian University University , a Master in leadership at the CMI , a Post-graduate course in academic practice at Heriot Watt University .

Before being an academic, Pierre worked as a financial lawyer and banker .
